Deaconess Onesia Ferrell
I was born on December 20, 1962, and I am honored to serve as a Deaconess in the Usher and Greeter Ministry. I am the daughter of the faithful Deacon Ned Clemons, whose life of service, humility, and devotion to God laid a strong spiritual foundation for me. From a young age, I was taught the importance of loving God, honoring His house, and serving His people with sincerity and compassion.
I am joyfully married to my husband, Deacon Fred Ferrell, and together we have been blessed with four wonderful children. Our family has continued to grow, and I am grateful to be the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family is one of God’s greatest gifts to me, and I strive to lead by example teaching faith, love, and service through both word and action.
For the past 17 years, I have faithfully served in ministry, with a heart committed to making others feel welcomed, valued, and embraced by the love of Christ the moment they enter the doors of the church. As an usher and greeter, I consider it a sacred assignment to serve with kindness, patience, and a warm spirit, ensuring that everyone experiences God’s presence through genuine hospitality and love. Ephesians320 Church under the leadership of Pastor Tawanna Grant love starts at the entrance showing people that a warm greeting can lift a heavy spirit. I welcome all to visit our church as we say We Are Family.
My passion for ministry flows from a deep gratitude for all that God has done in my life. I serve not out of obligation, but out of love and reverence for Him. It is my prayer that every smile, every greeting, and every act of service reflects God’s grace and helps draw others closer to Him. I remain thankful, humbled, and committed to serving the Kingdom with faithfulness, joy, and an open heart.
